    We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons. However, we’ll always do our best to accommodate shorter timelines when possible.

  • Do you offer free estimates?

    Yes—all of our estimates are free and come with no obligation.


    While we are happy to discuss pricing over the phone, we recommend scheduling a free on-site estimate or a video estimate for the most accurate quote. 

  • Do you handle long-distance moves?

    Yes—Viking handles long-distance moves along the East Coast. Your move is managed by one experienced team from start to finish, without third-party transfers.

  • Will the same crew handle my move?

    In most cases, yes. Our goal is to provide a consistent, well-managed experience with a professional team you can trust.

  • Do you move apartments and smaller homes?

    Absolutely. We offer full-service moves as well as mini moves for smaller spaces, apartments, and in-home moving needs.

  • Do I have to pack everything myself?

    No. Viking offers both full-service and partial packing options. You can choose how much you’d like our team to handle.

  • Do you provide packing materials?

    Yes—we offer professional-grade packing supplies and can deliver them directly to your home.

  • How do you protect fragile or valuable items?

    Our team uses proper materials and techniques to carefully wrap and protect items like glassware, artwork, antiques, and electronics.

  • What types of storage do you offer?

    We offer three main storage options:


    • Full-service storage (we handle everything)
    • Self-service storage (you bring items to us)
    • Portable storage (VODS)
  • Can you move my items directly into storage?

    Yes. We can pack, transport, and store your belongings as part of one seamless process.

  • Is your storage facility secure?

    Yes—our warehouse is climate-controlled, monitored, and professionally managed to keep your belongings safe. Viking owns and operates our 16,000 sq ft warehouse, giving you peace of mind that your belongings are well cared for. 

  • Can I access my items while they’re in storage?

    Yes. Access can be arranged by scheduling a time with our team.


🚛 VODS Portable Storage


  • How does portable storage work?

    We deliver a container to your home, you pack on your schedule, and we store or move it when you’re ready.

  • Can I keep the container at my home?

    Yes—you can keep the container on-site or have it transported to our facility for storage.

  • Is there a delivery fee?

    No—Viking offers $0 delivery within our service area.

  • What size containers are available?

    VODS Portable Storage Containers are offered in 10', 16', and 20' sizes. Our team can help you choose the right option.
